Ten New Corporate Members Joined IENE in 2017A number of well-established companies, covering a wide range of activities between them, have joined the Institute as corporate members during 2017. These ten entities include not only energy-related companies and organizations from Greece and abroad, but also established international technical and consulting groups

A number of well-established companies, covering a wide range of disciplines between them, have joined the Institute as corporate members during 2017. These ten new additions include not only energy-related companies and organizations from Greece and abroad, but also established international technical and consulting groups.

More specifically, these latest IENE corporate members include:

- Hellenic Hydrocarbons Resources Management (HHRM) S.A. (www.greekhydrocarbons.gr), is currently the competent authority in Greece for organizing and co-ordinating all oil and gas exploration rounds. HHRM is also the supervising authority responsible for the execution of these operations.

- PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers) (www.pwc.com), a multinational professional services network headquartered in London, United Kingdom and one of the largest professional services firm in the world. PWC joined IENE through its Athens office.

- C&M Engineering (www.cmengineering.gr), is a leading Athens-based independent consultancy and engineering firm offering an integrated package of services in the following sectors: - energy, tourism development & buildings, -industry and infrastructure.

- PPC Renewables S. A. (www.ppcr.gr), is a fully owned subsidiary of Public Power Corporation SA, Greece's largest power generation company. PPC Renewables is the only company in Greece which has activities in the entire RES field.

- EREN Hellas S. A. (www.eren.gr),is a leading RES company active in the solar and wind power sectors in Greece with several wind farms and photovoltaic parks in operation.


- M&M Gas S.A. (
www.moh.gr), a joint Mytilineos Group and Motor Oil (Hellas) company, active in the distribution and marketing of natural gas. M&M is the sole independent company currently importing LNG in Greece.

- Cenergy Holdings (www.cenergyholdings.com), listed in the Brussels Stock Exchange, comprises a group of companies with a growing presence in the energy transmission sector (Corinth Pipeworks S.A., Cablel® Hellenic Cables Group).

- EDA THESSALONIKI-THESSALIA S.A. (www.edathess.gr), a company established in 2017 (having resulted from the unbundling of Thessaloniki gas company), acts as operator of the Natural Gas Distribution Network within the geographical areas of Thessaloniki Prefecture and Thessaly Region.

- η MAS S. A. (http://mas.gr), a pioneering company that has been providing electric equipment and technical support in the energy field for over 40 years, not only in Greece but also a much wider international area.

and

- Energiaki S.A. (www.readsa.gr) is the Development Company of Greece’s South Aegean Administrative Region based on the island of Rhodes and active in the whole South Aegean island region.

The registration of the above companies to IENE’s roster of corporate members greatly enhances the Institute’s presence in the energy business sector and beyond, but also recognizes its special role in the SE Europe as well as the high level of services it provides to its members.

The inclusion of the above ten company members brings the total number of IENE corporate members to 75 which between them have accredited to the Institute more than 1,100 individuals energy professionals.
