25 years of “Energy & Development” - One of the most important conferences of the Greek energy market Having established itself as a key platform for multifaceted information, dialogue and communication on energy issues in Greece and Southeast Europe, the annual National Conference on "Energy and Development", now in its 25th year, is organized once again by the Institute of Energy of Southeast Europe (IENE) under the auspices of the Ministry Environment and Energy.

Having established itself as a key platform for multifaceted information, dialogue and communication on energy issues in Greece and Southeast Europe, the annual National Conference on "Energy and Development", now in its 25th year, is organized once again by the Institute of Energy of Southeast Europe (IENE) under the auspices of the Ministry Environment and Energy. The Conference will take place in hybrid form at the Divani Caravel Hotel in Athens with the presence of more than 70 distinguished speakers from Greece and abroad. These include representatives from government and political parties and from the academic community. Also, several executives from major energy companies and international organizations will contribute while important interventions will be made by renowned experts and reputable analysts.

Indicatively, the conference’s list of confirmed speakers will include, among others: the Minister of Development and Investment, Adonis Georgiadis, the President of RAE, Dr. Athanasios Dagoumas, the General Secretary of Energy and Mineral Raw Materials, Alexandra Sdoukou, the Head of Environment of SYRIZA, Socratis Famellos, the President of the Technical Chamber of Greece, Giorgos Stasinos, the Vice President of ACCI, Michalis Siamidis. The Minister of Environment and Energy, Costas Skrekas, will also address the conference via video message.

In addition, this year's event will host the International Energy Agency (IEA) whose “World Energy Outlook 2021” will be presented by Mr. Apostolos Petropoulos, senior member of the modeling team.
