One of the principal activities of the Institute is the provision of up to- date information on key energy and environmental issues in South-East Europe. This information is made available on a regular basis through the publication of newsletters, analysis, research notes, working papers, conference proceedings, studies and a variety of other publications, as well as via the specialized websites supported and administrated by the Institute.
Members and associates of the IENE receive an almost daily information feed which includes electronic newsletters such as the "SE Europe Energy Brief", in three installments (inc. Market Watch, Prices and Market Fundamentals, Monthly Analysis), and ad hoc Briefing Notes. Other regular newsletters include the Institute’s flagship report, “The Energy Weekly Report”, the weekly “SEE Electricity and Gas Market Analysis” and a weekly analysis on “Greece’s Energy Market “.
In addition to the above the Institute frequently publishes “News Analyses” which track down and discuss latest energy and geopolitical developments of regional and global importance, a “News Flash” to report on extra ordinary developments, and a regular “Energy Comment” which discusses current energy and geopolitical issues.
All the above publications, which are send directly to recipients via email, are meant to provide IENE Members and Associates with an almost continuous information feed which keeps them up to date on global and regional developments. The Institute’s editorial team constantly strives to improve the content and frequency of this information flow which is unique to IENE members and is regarded by both companies and individual energy professionals, as one of the most important benefits from their membership to the Institute.
IENE’s information feed is provided through two strings. The first one is to be found in the Institute’s daily update of regional and global energy news and commentary, freely accessible through its web site – www.iene.eu.
