“SEE Energy Outlook 2022” to be presented today in special event in Sofia, BulgariaThe just published major study by IENE concerning the energy situation and prospects in SE Europe, the “ SEE Energy Outlook 2021/2022”, is to be presented on Tuesday, March 8 in Sofia. The study presentation is part of a special event, to be held at the Sofia Balkan Hotel, and is organised by the Energy Management Institute (EMI) and the IENE and is sponsored by the Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange ( IBEX)

The just published major study by IENE concerning the energy situation and prospects in SE Europe, the “ SEE Energy Outlook 2021/2022”, is to be presented on Tuesday, March 8 in Sofia. The study presentation is part of a special event, to be held at the Sofia Balkan Hotel, and is organised by the Energy Management Institute (EMI) and the IENE and is sponsored by the Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange ( IBEX)

The event will start at 14:00 with welcome and a short introduction by EMI’s chairman Mr. Slavtcho Neykov to be followed by opening remarks by Mr. Konstantin Konstantinov, the CEO of IBEX. The Bulgarian Energy Exchange has taken a special interest in IENE’s study since it was one of its official supporters and actively contributed data and commentary during the preparation of the study. The main presentation of the study will be made by Mr. Costis Stambolis, IENE’s chairman and Executive Director, who is also the coordinator and principal editor of the study. Mr. Costas Theofylactos, a study contributor and head of IENE’s Energy Efficiency Group will also contribute in the presentation focusing on Renewables, Energy Efficiency and Co Generation.

Mr. Kaloyan Staykov, Chief Economist at EMI, and a Study contributor will then take the floor and speak on the Bulgarian Energy Scene. An open all round discussion will follow which will cover all aspects of the “Outlook” study.

Following concluding remarks by the organisers drinks and networking will follow.

IENE’s “SEE Europe Energy Outlook 2021/2022” study was launched during a similar event which was held at the Athens Exchange on March 1 and was backed by the Hellenic Energy Exchange (ENEX). Further roadshows are now planned for the presentation of the “Outlook” and they will take place over the next few months in Istanbul, Belgrade, Vukurest, Tirana and elsewhere. Detailed announcements concerning these special events will be made in due course.
