Following an absence of almost two years, due to the coronavirus pandemic, IENE is now going ahead with its plans to organise once again in Thessaloniki the annual “Energy Dialogue of SE Europe”. Now in its 13th edition, this major regional energy event will bring together some of the leading energy authorities and senior executives from most major energy corporations, organisations and educational establishments of SE Europe.

Right from its start in 2007, the “SEE Energy Dialogue” has been conceived as a highly focused regional energy forum dedicated to the promotion and discussion of energy developments, ideas and initiatives. Over the years, the SEE Energy Dialogue emerged as a truly transformational event by bringing together quite a diverse group of energy experts, senior executives, academics and financiers thus providing a unique platform for discussion, analysis and networking. Delegates, speakers and panelists to the SEE Energy Dialogue come from almost all countries in the region and beyond.

With the momentous events of the last few days in Ukraine and the mounting uncertainties now prevailing in the European energy scene, energy security and market integration are bound to dominate this year’s agenda. A detailed announcement is currently being prepared as invitations are send out to speakers and technical details get finalised. In view of the continuing pandemic, the organising committee has decided to convene the Energy Dialogue as a hybrid event so that it can be attended by delegates who will not be able to travel.

Further details about the Energy Dialogue, including the draft programme, invited speakers and key thematic areas to be announced soon on this site.
