“Information Feed” Provides Unique Insight on Latest Global and Regional Energy Developments

Over the years the Institute has developed a string of regular publications, most of them in the form of a newsletter, which are sent exclusively to its members on an almost daily basis. In essence, IENE’s “Information Feed” provides a continuous flow of news and analysis to its members. These publications cover a wide range of news and reports on latest regional and global developments in the energy sector. Currently, the Institute’s flagship newsletter is the “Energy Weekly Report” which is send out to members every Friday. It usually includes an informed Editorial, a comprehensive coverage of global and regional energy related news, the Oil & Gas Watch, sectorial news, Electricity, Renewables, Electro mobility and Emissions.

An equally useful publication for those involved in the region’s electricity and gas markets is the weekly “SEE Electricity and Gas Market Analysis”, which reports every Wednesday on how markets fared in the past week. The report is cramped with hard data on electricity and gas demand, variable renewables output, hydropower yield, thermal power generation, cross-border electricity trade, electricity and gas price fluctuations etc. Another similar analysis is released weekly on Monday and covers exclusively Greece’s energy market.

In addition to the above the Institute publishes a “Monthly Energy Analysis” which is supplemented with regular news analyses depending on the frequency and intensity of developments in the region and beyond. Also,of interest is the Monthly ”SEE Energy Market Watch” which reports on all the latest infrastructure and market projects in progress in the region, and the “SEE Market Fundamental and Prices” which reports with the use of statistics the observed market variations every two months. Last but not least is the “IENE Comment” which is normally contributed by an associate of the Institute and provides an unbiased commentary on latest market developments and government plans and regulations. To the above we should also add the occasional “News Flash”, a short report which covers extraordinary events, “Company Profiles” and “Briefing Notes” on selected subjects.
