Once again, the Institute of Energy for SE Europe (IENE) convenes Greece’s oldest and most influential energy conference. On November 11-12, 2025, the 29th National Energy Conference “Energy and Development”, will be held in Athens at the OTE Academy premises, covering cutting-edge topics of the national and global energy agenda.
Having attracted strong interest from executives and experts from Greece and abroad, “Energy and Development” will once again highlight the key issues of the energy sector at national, regional and global level. A large number of speakers from organizations and companies active in the energy sector, both in Greece and in the wider region of SE Europe, will participate in the conference through key note presentations and several panel discussions.
Responding to international and regional developments, the scientific committee of the 29th National Conference “Energy and Development” has prepared a highly motivating program that covers almost all aspects of the current debate on pressing energy issues of our time which are of interest to Greece and SE Europe.
In this high-level annual gathering, more than seventy (70) senior executives from energy companies and organizations from Greece and abroad, as well as academics, scientists from major research centers and well-known stakeholders, have already confirmed their participation as speakers, while important interventions are expected to be made by renowned experts and authoritative analysts.
As every year, the IENE National Conference “Energy and Development” is held under the auspices of Greece’s Ministry of Environment and Energy (MEER), the Regulatory Authority for Energy, Waste and Water (RAAEY), and the International Energy Agency (IEA).
