IENE Postpones 16th South East Europe Energy Dialogue for 2027

In view of mounting regional unrest as well as growing market uncertainty, IENE has decided to postpone for next year the “16th South East Europe Energy Dialogue” which was scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 17 June 2026, in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The decision was taken after considering the current turbulent geopolitical environment which has created significant challenges for long-term planning and has affected the availability of key industry stakeholders whose participation is considered essential for maintaining the high standards and strategic relevance of this flagship regional event. South East Europe Energy Dialogue is an established regional event organized continuously by IENE since 2007.

Furthermore, the exceptionally fluid policy environment currently shaping European and regional energy developments makes it advisable to convene the Dialogue at a time when a more comprehensive and forward-looking discussion can be held.

IENE sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience that this postponement may have caused to speakers and delegates and reaffirms its commitment to convene events of high quality to the wider energy community in SE Europe and beyond.
