The 29th National Energy Conference "Energy and Development" Conference will be held on November 11 and 12, 2025, at the OTE Academy facilities, in Athens, convened by the Institute of Energy for SE Europe (IENE). As usual, this annual flagship IENE event will cover a wide range of energy issues from the domestic, international and regional agenda, with emphasis on the organization and operation of energy markets (electricity and natural gas) in Greece and SE Europe.
Energy supply and energy investments in the sector and their impact on the overall development of the economy will also be addressed by IENE’s 29th "Energy and Development" Conference. At the same time, the need to improve energy security and reduce the country's energy dependence will be highlighted.
More than 70 speakers and moderators are participating in this year's IENE's “Energy & Development” Conference, among whom many senior executives from major energy companies and organizations in Greece and abroad, as well as academics, scientists, representatives of international organizations and well-known stakeholders. Moreover, acclaimed experts and analysts will share their perspective on highly topical energy matters.
IENE's 29th “Energy and Development” is being held under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of Environment and Energy, the Regulatory Authority for Waste, Energy and Water (RΑΑΕΥ) and the International Energy Agency (IEA).
IENE's annual Conference is sponsored by a number of major Greek and international companies and organizations.
