The important role of energy and energy security in today's geopolitically unstable world, as well as the strategic importance of reducing Europe's energy dependence on Russia, in the wake of the war in Ukraine, will be highlighted by the Institute of Energy of Southeast Europe (IENE) in its 26th Annual National Conference “Energy & Development” which will take place in Athens on November 22-23, 2022.
This multi-thematic and well-established event ensures a holistic and coherent approach to the broad range of issues affecting the energy sector in Greece and the wider region of SE Europe, as well as their impact on the economy.
The high-level participation of government ministers and senior executives of leading public and private sector companies as well as acclaimed experts and academics will enhance a fruitful dialogue and exchange of ideas and views on all issues concerning the energy and environment sector focusing on Greece and SE Europe.

The Conference is organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment and Energy and the Regulatory Authority for Energy (RAE) and will be held at Divani Caravel Hotel, in Athens.
