Croatia's
energy market operator, HROTE, said on Wednesday
it will sign this year no new agreements for the
purchase of electricity generated by solar or wind
farms.
HROTE said in a statement it will continue to sign
this year purchase agreements for power from all
other renewable energy sources as well as from
cogeneration plants eligible under the country's
existing feed-in tariff system.
The total installed capacity forrenewable energy
generation in Croatia amounted to 365.5 megawatts
(MW) as of September 1, HROTE data showed.
Wind had the biggest share in the country's
installed renewable energy generation capacity
with 297.3 MW, followed by solar with30.1 MW and
high-efficiency cogeneration plants with 13.3 MW.
