Czech company Energo-Pro will file a complaint to an
administrative court over the fine it received from Bulgaria's antitrust
office as it believes the fine was imposed at variance with Bulgarian
regulations, the firm's board of directors member Jiri Krusina has told
CTK, Prague Daily Monitor reported.
Bulgaria's Commission for Protection of Competition (KZK) has imposed a
fine of BGN 266,040 (about Kc 3.74m) on Energo-Pro for abuse of dominant
market position, the Bulgarian media have reported.
The company received two similar fines from the KZK last year.
"The fine has been imposed for a delay in connecting one photovoltaic
power plant. The matter is not related to the activities of Energo-Pro.
It happened under the previous owner, company E.ON, but the documents we
have obtained show that E.ON's steps were correct. We received the fine
as the legal successor," Krusina said.
Energo-Pro wants to reverse the verdict with the help of a complaint to an administrative court, he added.
