In his opening address the Chairman of IENE, emphasized that, "2023 is a year full of serious challenges for IENE, and this is because we have set as our primary goal the upgrading of the services offered to our members and more broadly, the expansion of our membership in Greece and SE Europe, the broadening of our activities in the countries of the region - events are already planned in Tirana, Sofia, Bucharest, Budapest, Istanbul and Nicosia - but also the strengthening of our educational work. The certification of companies and organizations by IENE for the issuance of Green Bonds, in collaboration with the Climate Bond Initiative of London, is one of the most important initiatives to upgrade our Advisory Services – a special event on this topic is about to be scheduled in this room on March 29."
