Vestas Announces €15.6 Billion in Revenue in 2021

The revenue of Danish wind energy company Vestas in 2021 increased to €15.6 billion from €14.8 billion in 2020, the company announced on Thursday.

'In a very challenging environment, Vestas achieved a record-high revenue, which is a testament to Vestas’ shared dedication, determination, and resilience,' the company said.

The company said despite adverse underlying conditions last year, which it said were characterized by supply chain disruptions that caused severe cost inflation and lack of capacity, Vestas was able to deliver on its commitments to customers and push the energy transition forward.

Vestas forecasts that revenue for 2022 will range between €15 and 16.5 billion.
