Turkish Firm Produces Smallest Home Heating Unit

Turkey's home heating system manufacturer Warmhaus has produced the world's smallest home heating unit Minerwa, the company told Anadolu Agency.

Kagan Turan, the chairman of Warmhaus, said that work on the home heating unit project started in 2017, while mass production is expected to start by the end of this year.

It is expected that the heating unit will be exported to the U.K., Denmark and Italy. "While designing Minerwa, we especially thought about the customers who face lack of space at home," he added.

He said that the Minerwa heating unit fully complies with EU standards, while saving gas and electricity consumption. Noting that the production is fully based on local capital, Turan added: "We add value to the national economy by exporting to more than 30 countries."

Turan also said that Warmhaus spent over $5 million on research and development in the past three years. Warmhaus -- established in 1996 -- is one of Turkey's largest five companies with a production capacity in heating, according to its website.
