Turkey's TPAO to Seek Oil in Afghanistan

Turkish Petroleum Corporation, TPAO, has signed an agreement to seek oil in two blocks in Afghanistan, local media reported on Monday citing Turkey's energy minister Taner Yildiz.

Under the agreement, signed in the past week and ratified by the government of Afghanistan, state-owned TPAO will search for oil in the two blocks together with three partners, Turkish news agency Anadolu Ajansi quoted Yildiz as saying.
