Turkey's TPAO Gets $12 bln Income from TBC Oil Pipeline

Turkey's state-owned Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) has received $12 billion (8.8 billion euro) in income from the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline, local media reported, citing Turkey's energy minister Taner Yildiz. The BTC crude oil pipeline, in which TPAO has a 6.5% stake, has so far transported 1.8 billion barrels of oil, Yildiz said as quoted by Anadolu Agency on Monday

Turkey's state-owned Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) has received $12 billion (8.8 billion euro) in income from the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline, local media reported, citing Turkey's energy minister Taner Yildiz.

The BTC crude oil pipeline, in which TPAO has a 6.5% stake, has so far transported 1.8 billion barrels of oil, Yildiz said as quoted by Anadolu Agency on Monday.

Turkey has some 3,800 kilometres of oil pipelines and some 80,000 kilometres of natural gas pipeline, Yildiz said speaking at the Pipeline and Safe Life ceremony in Ankara.
