Turkish
power producer Akenerji said on
Friday it has put into full commercial operation a
904 megawatt (MW) gas-fired combined cycle power
plant in the southern Turkish province of Hatay
after powering up a 320 MW unit.
Akenerji’s wholly-owned subsidiary Egemer Elektrik
Uretim started building the Erzin power plant in
October 2011, Akenerji said in a bourse filing. It
put into operation the plant's two other units in
April.
Akenerji’s total installed power generation
capacity has reached 1,548 MW, the company added.
