Serbian Power Utility EPS Signs LoI with Schneider Electric

Serbian state-owned energy utility EPS said on Friday it has signed a letter of intent (LoI) with French electrical equipment maker Schneider Electric targeting cooperation in the introduction of smart management of electricity distribution systems.

The smart management systems would help cut grid losses and increase grid reliability, EPS said in a statement.

The two companies also agreed to consider funding opportunities for projects for the introduction of modern technical solutions in power distribution networks.
