Norway's Petroleum Sales Increase in July

Norway's total sales of petroleum products increased by 4.7% to 685 million liters in July compared to the same month last year, according to Statistics Norway on Tuesday.

For gasoline sales, the statistics office said the volume increased by 3.6% to 114 million liters.

Sales of diesel amounted to 253 million liters - a decrease of 1.6% compared to July last year.

The country's statistics authority has produced data collated from the Norwegian Ministry of Trade, the Norwegian Petroleum Institute and oil companies since 1973.
