NIS Starts 12.5 Mln Euro 3D Seismic Survey in Serbia's North

Serbian oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] has started a 3D seismic survey on the Martonos, Velebit and Boka-Jermenovci exploration sites, located in northern Serbia, as part of this year's oil and gas exploration program, local media reported on Monday.

The works on the project, covering 740 square kilometres with an estimated value of around 12.5 million euro ($16.9 million), should wrap up by April, news portal Tanjugbiz.rs reported.

Its main activities include the exploration, production and processing of oil and gas, as well as the production and retail trade with a wide range of petroleum products.
