Greece's PPC Turkish Unit Gets Power Supply Licence

Greek power utility Public Power Corp (PPC) said on Friday its local subsidiary PPC Elektrik Tedarik ve Ticaret Anonim Sirketi was awarded an electricity supply licence by Turkey's energy regulator.

PPC provided no further details in a bourse filing.

PPC Elektrik Tedarik ve Ticaret is a wholly-owned unit of PPC, engaged in electricity trading. PPC established the Turkey-based company in March as part of its strategy to expand in growing markets of South East Europe.
