France's Alstom Gets Regulatory Nod to Buy 30% of Turkish Geothermal Firm

The Turkish competition watchdog said on Thursday it has cleared French heavy engineering group Alstom to acquire a 30% stake in Turkish geothermal energy company Deltom Jeotermal Analiz Enerji Uretim Ins. San. ve Tic. AS from local firm Delta Yatirim Holding.

Alstom will acquire the stake through its subsidiaries Alstom Power ve Ulasim AS and Alstom Renewable Holding BV, the regulator said in a statement.

Delta Yatirim Holding is a diversified holding company with operations in the textile, energy, construction, tourism sectors.
