Devoll Hydropower, the unit of Norwegian renewable energy company Statkraft in Albania, said it recorded an after-tax profit of 2.5 billion leks ($31.3 million/27.1 million euro) in 2025, following a loss of 14.6 billion leks in the previous year due to a one-off impairment charge.
The company's revenue from electricity production and sales at its two power plants along the namesake river fell 7% to 6.34 billion leks, Devoll Hydropower said in an annual financial statement filed with the country's trade register last week.
Total expenditures, however, decreased by 75% last year.
Statkraft operates two hydropower plants in Albania, Banja HPP, with an installed capacity of 72 MW, and Moglice HPP, with an installed capacity of 197 MW. Total investment cost of the Devoll hydropower project was estimated at 590 million euro.
