Romania's Oil Terminal in 26 Mln Euro Petroleum Logistics Deals

Romanian petroleum logistics company Oil Terminal said it has signed two petroleum product logistics contracts worth a total of 130 million lei ($29.8 million/25.5 million euro) with Romania's top oil and gas group OMV Petrom and local fuel distributor Oscar Downstream.

Under the 60 million lei deal signed with OMV Petrom, Oil Terminal will manage the loading and unloading of crude oil, gasoline, diesel, fuel oil, and petrochemical products from and into maritime vessels, river barges, tank wagons, tankers, and bunkering tanks as well as the storage of crude oil and petroleum products, the logistics company said in a statement filed with the Bucharest Stock Exchange on Monday.

As part of the contract with the oil and gas group, Oil Terminal will also deliver crude oil to local transporter Conpet, which will pump the raw material into OMV Petrom's refinery.

Oil Terminal also signed a 70 million lei contract with Oscar Downstream to manage the unloading and loading of diesel from and into maritime vessels, river barges, tank wagons, tankers, and bunkering tanks as well as the storage of diesel.

Oil Terminal shares were down 1.32% at 0.1125 lei as at 1211 CET on January 8 on the Bucharest bourse. OMV Petrom saw its shares trade 2.07% higher at 1.035 lei by 1239 CET while Conpet shares fell 0.26% to 77.8 lei as at 1212 CET.
