Bulgaria's state gas supplier Bulgargaz has selected Shell ?as the winner of ?a tender to deliver one cargo of liquefied natural gas (LNG), ?the company said on ?Tuesday. Five companies submitted bids in ?the tender to supply ?about 1 million megawatt hours (MWh) ?of LNG for delivery in Turkey, Bulgargaz added.
The cargo will be ?loaded in the United ?States and is expected to arrive at ?the ?end of May, with the LNG to be used to meet demand during ?the summer, ?Bulgargaz ?said.
The gas will be imported using Bulgargaz's ?agreement with Turkish state ?operator ?BOTAS, which grants Bulgaria access to Turkish gas storage ?capacity ?and gas ?pipelines.
