The next investment cycle of Croatian state-owned gas transmission system operator Plinacro will total 1.2 billion euro ($1.6 million), the economy ministry said on Tuesday July 22.
The highlights of Plinacro's investment programme are the projects for the construction of the Ionian Adriatic Pipeline (IAP), the Lucko-Zabok-Rogatec gas link with Slovenia, the Krk LNG transit pipeline and new compressor stations, Plinacro board chairman Marin Zovko was quoted as saying in a statement posted on the ministry's website.
All these project have been included in the list of the European Union’s Projects of Common Interest (PCI), with IAP also featuring on the list of projects of interest for the energy community. The PCI projects are related to the development of trans-European energy networks which are eligible to receive EU financial aid.
Plinacro has so far completed investment projects worth 600 million euro in total.
