The government of Bosnia’s Serb
Republic said on Thursday it plans to call a
tender for a contract for the construction and
operation of a hydro power plant (HPP) with a
capacity of 1.66 megawatts (MW) in Pale
municipality.
The Gornje Pale HPP, which will be located on
Bistrica river, will produce 5.3 gigawatt hours
(GWh) annually, the government of the Serb
Republic said in a statement on its website.
The Serb Republic is one of the two autonomous
entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The
other is the Muslim-Croat Federation.
