Bosnia's Serb Republic to Seek Candidates to Build 1.66 MW HPP

The government of Bosnia’s Serb Republic said on Thursday it plans to call a tender for a contract for the construction and operation of a hydro power plant (HPP) with a capacity of 1.66 megawatts (MW) in Pale municipality.

The Gornje Pale HPP, which will be located on Bistrica river, will produce 5.3 gigawatt hours (GWh) annually, the government of the Serb Republic said in a statement on its website.

The Serb Republic is one of the two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other is the Muslim-Croat Federation.
