The government of Bosnia’s Muslim-Croat Federation said on Tuesday it gave the consent to plans for signing a memorandum of understanding with several countries in the region and Azerbaijan for cooperation in the implementation of the European Union-backed Southern Gas Corridor project.
The memorandum for Southern Gas Corridor in the Southeastern Europe also involves Montenegro, Croatia and Albania, which alongside with Azerbaijan have already signed the document, the government of Bosnia’s Muslim-Croat Federation said in a statement.
Details on the project were not provided.
The Southern Gas Corridor is an initiative of the European Commission for the gas supply from Caspian and Middle Eastern regions to the Southeastern Europe and the European Union countries.
