World Bank, Kosovo Sign Agreements on Energy Efficiency, Health Projects

The World Bank said it has signed with Kosovo two agreements onefficiency and health projects with total value of $56.5 million (48.6 million euro).

The Kosovo Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Project, with a total value of $31 million, aims at reducing energy consumption and fossil fuel use in public buildings, the World Bank said in a statement posted on its website on Thursday.

The $25.5 million Kosovo Health Project would improve the financial protection from health spending for the poor and quality of care for priority maternal and child health and non-communicable disease services in Kosovo, the World Bank added.
