Serbia's TE-KO Kostolac 5-Mo Electricity Output at 2.69 Mln MWh

Serbian coal miner and thermal power producer TE-KO Kostolac said its electricity output reached 2.69 million megawatt-hours (MWh) over the five months through May.

In May alone, the coal-fired TE-KO Kostolac produced 621,580 MWh of electricity, company data showed.

Coal production topped 3.77 million tonnes in the first five months of the year. In May alone, Kostolac produced 855,361 tonnes of coal.

TE-KO Kostolac, located in eastern Serbia, has an installed power generation capacity of around 1,000 megawatts
