Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev, who is on an official two-day visit to Albania, discussed security in terms of electricity supply during a meeting with representatives of Albanian companies, the press centre of the Bulgarian Head of State announced.

He remarked Bulgaria produced three times more electricity than it consumed, which allowed it to export electricity at competitive prices to countries in Southeast Europe.

Mr Plevneliev and Albanian counterpart Mr Bujar Nishani went to an exhibition at the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet of Albania dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and Albania.

They also attended a concert in which the Bulgarian ensemble for folk songs and dances Sredets and the National Albanian ensemble for folk songs and dances participated.
