Consortium Begins Construction of a Wind Farm in Northwestern Serbia

MK Fintel Wind, a joint venture of the Italian public enterprise Fintel Energia Spa and Serbia's MK Group, announced on Tuesday that it has begun the construction of a wind farm near Kula, northwestern Serbia, with installed capacity of 9.9 megawatts, and the works are expected to be completed by the end of October.

The plant, which consists of three wind generators "Vestas", which are 178 meters in height, will produce 27 million kilowatt hours of green energy, which is sufficient for nearly 8,000 households, announced the MK Fintel Wind press service.

The company has invested nearly EUR 15 million in the project of construction of the Wind Park Kula reports Tanjug.
