Vestas Receives 55 MW Wind Order from China

Vestas, a Danish renewables company, received a 55-megawatt wind order in eastern China, the company announced on Thursday.

Delivery and commissioning of the order for the project in eastern China's Jiangsu Province is expected begin in the first half of 2018.

"Together with our high-quality turbine products and world-class service solutions, I’m confident our ability to customize solutions in China will provide a strong offering to our customers”, President of Vestas China, Kebao Yang, said.

The project includes a two-year active output management service contract and takes Vestas’ order intake in China to more than 600 megawatts in 2017.
