Serbia's TENT TPP Reconnects to Grid B1 Unit, B2 Offline for Routine Repairs

Serbia's biggest power generating complex, TENT, said on Monday it has reconnected to the grid its 650 MW B1 unit, which was taken offline in March for a regular overhaul.

B1 unit reached full capacity over the weekend and currently operates in stable condition, the director of TENT B power station, Goran Lukic, said in a statement.

After synchronizing with the grid its B1 unit, TENT shut down its 620 MW B2 unit for 45-day regular overhaul.

During the overhaul, a new 725 MVA transformer unit will be mounted on the B2 unit.

The TENT B TPP, located on the right bank of the Sava river, 50 km west of Belgrade, comprises two units with a total capacity of 1,240 MW.

The coal-fired TENT complex, also comprising TPPs TENT A, Kolubara and Morava, has a total installed capacity of 3,288 MW.
