A congruence of high level energy professionals will be gathering in Athens on July 4/5 to participate at IENE’s latest Workshop on "Energy Security in SE Europe and the role of LNG”.
More than 25 speakers and panelists from several European countries have already confirmed their participation including some of the region’s top energy players but also pioneering companies working at global scale. This 1 ½ day intensive international Workshop aims towards providing the latest information and analysis on the critical issue of regional energy security and the increasingly important role of LNG. The Workshop venue at the Divani Apollo Hotel has been carefully chosen to provide much needed seclusion by the sea yet it is not far from central Athens and the major archaeological sites.
John Roberts, a highly respected energy expert, will lead the discussion on energy security while Mr. Panayiotis Kanellopoulos of Athens based LNG trader M&M will focus on latest developments in the LNG sector. Dr. Michael Thomadakis of Grand Thorton will be the keynote speaker on the role of LNG in bolstering SEE Energy Security in SE Europe.
