February 23, 2010: IENEs Colloquium on Business Developments in the Energy Sector of SE Europe

The Institute of Energy for SE Europe (IENE) is organizing a colloquium to discuss the “Business Developments in the Energy Sector of SE Europe”. The event will take place at the Athenaeum Intercontinental Hotel on February 23, 2010 (17:00-22:00 h.). The scope of the meeting is to inform on the most recent energy developments in Greece as well as in the whole SE Europe region

The Institute of Energy for SE Europe (IENE) is organizing a colloquium to discuss the “Business Developments in the Energy Sector of SE Europe”. The event will take place at the Athenaeum Intercontinental Hotel on February 23, 2010 (17:00-22:00 h.).

The scope of the meeting is to inform on the most recent energy developments in Greece as well as in the whole SE Europe region.

The Colloquium will be opened by IENE’s Chairman Dr. John Desypris, while the Keynote Speech will be given by Mr. John Maniatis, Deputy Minister for Environment Energy & Climate Change. Distinguished representatives of some of the major energy companies in Greece, including Mr. Harris Sachinis (Chairman & Managing Director, Public Gas Corporation - DEPA), Mr. George Peristeris (Chairman, HELLAS-RES), Dr. John Tsipouridis (Managing Director, PPC Renewables SA), are also going to make presentations.

Several senior members of IENE will also address the Colloquium, including Prof. Pantelis Capros, NTUA and Chairman of the Insitute’s Scientific Committee, as well as Mr. Thomas Lamnidis, Lawyer, Law Firm KLC and member of IENE’s Executive Commitee.

The Colloquium will close with Mr. Costis Stambolis, Depury Chairman & Executive Director, IENE, who is going to focus on IENE’s progress of work for the 2010-2011 period.
